Terminal Operator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform all site operation functions including loading and unloading ships, railcars, and trucks
• Ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety, environmental, and quality controls
• Perform product reception, transfer, and shipment across various modes of transport
• Maintain logs, administrative forms, and necessary documentation
• Conduct site inspections for safety, environmental, and commercial purposes
• Perform maintenance on pumps, valves, and motors
• Execute equipment troubleshooting, power-up, and power-down procedures
• Monitor computerized site surveillance systems and perform sample collection and analysis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience or equivalent studies
• Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to follow strict work instructions and safety protocols
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience in an oil refinery environment
