Terminal Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and position terminal equipment to load and unload cement from railcars and trucks
• Monitor material flow, pressures, and inventory levels
• Collect material samples and complete required paperwork using computer systems
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on terminal machinery (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding)
• Operate mobile equipment including forklifts and track mobiles
• Coordinate with railroads, drivers, customers, sales, and vendors to ensure efficient delivery
• Maintain a safe work environment and support grounds maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements

• 1-year college certificate or technical certificate
• 3-6 years of related experience in product distribution and customer relations
• Knowledge of cement and ready-mix operations
• Track Mobile training and OSHA safety training
• Strong mechanical ability
• Ability to work either of the following shifts: 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
