Terminal Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport services in collaboration with Customer Service to ensure optimal unit delivery and reception.
• Manage and assign resources, including units and operators, to meet transportation service requirements.
• Supervise dispatch and reception operations to guarantee punctuality and efficiency.
• Control diesel consumption through pre-authorization and implement measures to prevent waste.
• Promote operational safety by conducting safety briefings for operators and fostering a culture of prevention.
• Manage incidents and accidents, providing support and follow-up to minimize operational impact.
• Maintain relationships with operators, addressing their needs and collaborating with HR or unions when necessary.
• Monitor performance indicators by maintaining updated operator Kardex records.
• Oversee fleet maintenance by verifying the physical and mechanical condition of tractors.
• Optimize productivity by managing routes, timing, and resources effectively.
• Control toll expenses and manage the proper use of PASE cards.
• Authorize liquidations within established parameters and financial policies.

Requirements

• Degree in Licenciatura, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in similar roles within the transport and logistics sector.
• Solid knowledge of terminal operations and fleet management.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage resources efficiently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
