Terminal Manager-Drayage

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, including supervisors, coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers
• Oversee site P&L, budget preparation, billing activity, and accounts receivable aging
• Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure efficient equipment utilization and cost-effective personnel management
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service, reviews, and continuous improvement
• Manage employee relations, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance appraisals, and coaching
• Ensure compliance with internal and external SOPs, as well as safety and security protocols
• Support long-term capacity planning based on sales forecasts and driver retention data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours in various environmental conditions
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to be on-call for operational issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transportation management systems such as Trinium, TMW, or AS400
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and talent management skills
