About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate safe operations and the delivery of products at the terminal
- Manage P&L for the assigned terminal and implement strategies to maximize profits
- Oversee transportation assets, costs, and contractual relationships
- Work closely with customers to develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Promote all aspects of safety and ensure adherence to OSHA rules and regulations
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and budgetary reports
- Drive process improvements and manage terminal operations
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a transportation-related field
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Proven experience managing budgets and P&L
- Strong working knowledge of the trucking industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience with SAP and Loadmaster
