Terminal Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage the performance of direct reports, including bulk drivers, mechanics, and office staff
• Manage local safety programs, conduct monthly safety meetings, and lead accident investigations to reduce injuries
• Oversee driver recruitment and retention to ensure sufficient staffing levels and service excellence
• Supervise rolling stock maintenance and control expenses through preventative maintenance scheduling and vendor coordination
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA, and FDA requirements, including driver files and vehicle maintenance records
• Monitor DOT Hours of Service compliance and drive continuous improvement across safety and efficiency KPIs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4–6 years of operations management experience supervising staff
• 3+ years of experience in Distribution or Logistics
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Proficiency in Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of operations management experience
• Previous experience in the industrial or specialty gas business
• Experience with Bulk Transportation and fleet maintenance
• Strong mathematical abilities and knowledge of DOT/FDA regulatory requirements
