Tenure Track Faculty: Business and Sport Management

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in core areas within the sport management and business majors
• Prioritize instruction in sport law, business law, and analytically oriented courses
• Engage in ongoing research, scholarship, and professional activities
• Collaborate with the sports industry to provide students with experiential learning opportunities through real-world events
• Mentor and advise undergraduate students regarding their academic and professional development
• Participate actively in the campus community and faculty governance

Requirements

• Master's Degree, MBA, or JD with relevant experience in sport (ABD candidates considered)
• Prior teaching or research experience in sport business or a related business field
• Practitioner experience in sport management or business to enhance classroom instruction
• Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Covenant College

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Sport Management, Business Administration, or a related business area (e.g., Economics, Finance, Analytics) from an accredited institution
