Tendering Engineer (Civil)

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other quantitative reports
• Manage material and subcontractor enquiries and evaluate received quotations
• Develop detailed cost estimates including direct and indirect costs
• Assist in the preparation of tender schedules and create Level 2 schedules
• Assist in the compilation of technical submittals
• Perform commercial engineering tasks, including selling price analysis and pricing estimates
• Prepare risk and opportunity analyses and basic cash flow scenarios
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain specialist input for tenders
• Prepare interfacing plans, DORs, and other JV/consortium-related documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar tendering role
• Proven experience in at least two completed projects of similar scope and complexity
• Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
