Tender Block

Responsibilities

• Lift and move concrete blocks weighing an average of 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, stooping, sweeping, and shoveling
• Operate heavy machinery such as wheeled loaders and forklifts
• Climb conveyors and vertical ladders as required for operational tasks
• Maintain and enforce a safe working environment at all times
• Execute various operational functions including operator, cuber, and forklift duties as needed
• Communicate effectively using verbal and written skills to follow directions

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods and perform heavy physical work
• Two-handed dexterity for the use of various tools and equipment
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions with exposure to extreme heat, cold, and noise
• Willingness to wear all required protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Background in electrical, welding, or fabricating work
• Mechanical and repair knowledge
