About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage tenant improvement projects and workplace buildout activities in Oakland from planning through completion
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into actionable plans
- Partner with landlords, architects, contractors, and consultants on design review and construction planning
- Maintain project documentation including plans, action logs, risk trackers, and status updates
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and risks to recommend practical solutions
- Track project costs against budgets and support invoice review
- Support site readiness by coordinating with IT, security, and workplace teams
- Lead regular project meetings and drive accountability for deadlines
Requirements
- Experience managing commercial tenant improvement or workplace construction projects
- Ability to run projects independently with limited oversight
- Working knowledge of construction processes including budgeting, scheduling, and permitting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a changing environment
- Experience with local vendor coordination and site logistics in the Bay Area preferred
