About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate Dual Beam FIB tools to prepare high-quality samples free of damage or artifacts for TEM analysis
- Follow SOP and job instructions with keen attention to detail
- Perform level-appropriate tool maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the imaging team to improve sample quality and efficiency
- Assist in the development of methods and procedures to optimize in-lab operations
Requirements
- Experience with SEM and FIB operation for high-quality TEM sample preparation
- Proficiency in chemical and dry etch sample delayering
- Ability to perform operator-level tool maintenance and calibration
- Experience with physical failure analysis sample manipulation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate various software applications
- Ability to safely handle and transfer very small parts (smaller than 1/8in) using tweezers
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of college or technical school education
- 1+ years of experience in the semiconductor field
