TEM Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate various TEM tools to perform high-quality analysis and generate in-depth reports
• Collaborate with customers to interpret results, identify defect root causes, and establish failure models
• Partner with Operations teams to improve sample quality and develop sample preparation best practices
• Lead projects to improve analytical work quality, turnaround time, and cost-efficiency
• Perform necessary tool maintenance to ensure operational readiness

Requirements

• B.S. or higher degree in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with structure analysis tools
• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor processes, device physics, materials physics, and chemistry
• Ability to conduct scientific research on novel semiconductor defects and write scientific papers

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in defect root cause analysis and failure modeling
• In-depth knowledge of advanced node process integration
