Teller/New Accounts

Responsibilities

• Perform regular teller duties including accepting deposits and cashing checks
• Open and close individual and commercial deposit accounts
• Complete BSA reporting forms such as CTRs and SIRs
• Manage vault operations, ATM settlement, and cash ordering/shipping
• Assist customers with account inquiries, check orders, and safe deposit boxes
• Achieve sales goals by promoting bank products and services
• Maintain customer accounts including CDs, HSAs, and IRAs

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 24 months of prior banking experience
• Experience with cash handling and customer contact preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Proficiency in operating computer terminals and banking equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal and business banking products
• Understanding of banking regulations and policies
• Strong communication and active listening skills
