Teller/New Accounts

Responsibilities

• Perform regular teller duties including accepting deposits and cashing checks
• Open and close individual and commercial deposit accounts
• Complete BSA reporting forms such as CTRs and SIRs
• Manage operational duties including vault operations, ATM settlement, and cash ordering
• Achieve sales goals by advising customers on bank products and services
• Assist customers with account inquiries, check orders, and safe deposit boxes
• Maintain customer accounts including CDs, HSAs, and IRAs

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 24 months of prior banking experience
• Experience with cash handling and customer contact
• Knowledge of banking regulations and principles
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexible hours including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating banking computer terminals and capture machines
• Strong communication and active listening skills
