About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and assisting with banking needs.
- Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to all bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Educate customers on digital tools and self-service banking options.
- Assist with operational tasks such as custodianship and audits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of cash handling experience.
- 6+ months of demonstrated customer service experience.
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work branch hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established work history or equivalent experience through training or military service.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products.
