Teller

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and assisting with banking needs
• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
• Adhere to all bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships
• Educate customers on digital tools and self-service banking options
• Assist with operational tasks such as custodianship and audits
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a welcoming environment

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ months of cash handling experience
• 6+ months of demonstrated customer service experience
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency
• Ability to work branch hours, which may include evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to follow strict policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Established work history through a combination of experience, training, or military service
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
