Teller

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and assisting with banking needs.
• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Handle cash accurately and maintain balanced cash drawer totals.
• Adhere to all bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and deepen customer relationships.
• Educate customers on digital tools and self-service banking options.
• Assist with operational tasks such as custodianship and audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of cash handling experience.
• 6+ months of demonstrated customer service experience.
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work branch hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Established work history through professional, military, or educational experience.
