About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and handle cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks
- Balance teller drawer at the end of each shift
- Research and resolve customer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts
- Identify customer needs and make referrals to appropriate bank staff for products and services
- Complete required BSA reporting such as CTRs and SIRs
- Assist with account and card maintenance tasks
- Answer phones and assist with customer service needs
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months teller experience
- Completion of required training courses or equivalent job experience
- Proficiency in basic math functions
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
