About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and handle paper and cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks
- Accept loan payments and sale of negotiable instruments
- Assist customers with access to safe deposit boxes
- Process mail and night drop transactions
- Maintain files including signature cards, night deposit logs, and mail logs
- Balance teller drawer at the end of each shift
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math functions
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a high-paced environment
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and work flexible hours including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of general banking principles
- Willingness to participate in educational opportunities
