Telephone Sales Consultant (Retail)

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential individuals for the training academy's programs
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
• Conduct research on potential students to understand their specific training and development requirements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual learners to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations of training programs to showcase how they meet specific needs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements to successfully close sales
• Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure programs meet student expectations
• Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics
• Provide post-sales support and handle class coordination and student queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, or education
• 1-3 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the training or education industry
• Knowledge of training and development programs and their impact on professional growth
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation abilities and a goal-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new training offerings
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and events
