About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets
  • Operate machinery for testing during installations
  • Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate keypad communication with telematics
  • Execute basic to complex wiring scenarios, including custom harnesses and CAN network access
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop alternative solutions as needed
  • Travel to client sites and regional rental yards for installations
  • Represent the EquipmentShare brand while on job sites and in the field
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool proficiency
  • Background as an electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, or 12V technician
  • Own tools (specialty tools provided by company)
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
  • Willingness to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to one week at a time
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs, maneuver in tight spaces, bend, squat, and walk long distances
  • Obtain MSHA certification within 30 days of start date (company-paid)
  • Pass a 10-panel drug screen
