Telecommunications Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce company safety programs and daily job site safety plans
• Assist Crew Foreman to ensure high-quality service to clients
• Perform duties within OSHA safety guidelines and all applicable safety laws
• Work effectively both individually and as part of a crew
• Handle the transportation of equipment and perform related duties as assigned
• Travel up to 100% to various job sites

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a tower climber
• Ability to climb telecommunications towers of at least 250 feet
• Current ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue
• Valid Driver’s License
• Technical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and work overtime, including weekends and evenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Anritsu, PIM, NWSA, or OSHA 10 Hour Certifications
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience in military communications, electronics troubleshooting, or fiber optics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
