Telecommunications Payload System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite communication systems and subsystems
• Participate in the verification and validation of satellite hardware and communication architectures
• Assist with digital signal processing (DSP) and RF system analysis
• Contribute to technical documentation, test reports, and engineering reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Support troubleshooting and performance analysis of satellite communication systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in space systems, satellite communications, or a related discipline
• Foundational knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP), RF systems, and telecommunications architectures
• Experience testing satellite subsystems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within aerospace, defense, or satellite communications environments
• Familiarity with satellite payloads, communication links, or ground segment systems
