Telecommunications Network Deployment and Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Participate in the deployment, operation, and maintenance of telecommunications networks required for Iberdrola services
• Plan, control, and execute network deployment including fiber optics, radio, infrastructure, and voice
• Manage transport technology, packet networks, and data switching
• Develop alternative studies, engineering plans, and execution strategies
• Oversee the commissioning of network deployments within the assigned area

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network deployment and maintenance
• Proximity to the workplace to fulfill on-call duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the deployment and operation of telecommunications networks
• Knowledge of radio and fiber optic networks
• Knowledge of DWDM and SDH transport networks
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, and MPLS packet networks
• Knowledge of voice switching networks
• Relevant professional certifications
