Telecommunications Central Office Installer Level III

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed installation, removal, and maintenance of Data Center, Telecom, and Wireless equipment
• Operate vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and test equipment
• Perform installation skills per Telco Standard TP76300
• Install AC/DC Power systems, fiber systems, and supervisory/alarm systems
• Read and apply job specifications, installation documents, and schematics
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all on-site work areas

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of installation experience
• Experience with AT&T Central Office installation practices is a plus
• DC Power Installation experience is a plus
• Ability to physically place, remove, or modify equipment including cable trays, racks, and data cabinets
• Proficiency with laptop computers and MS Office
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work in tight spaces, crawl spaces, or on ladders
• Willingness to travel extensively within the US and potentially internationally
