Telecommunications Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer, deploy, monitor and maintain VOIP telephony systems nationwide
• Work with 3rd party vendors and contractors to deploy and troubleshoot systems
• Provide tier 2 technical support and on-call assistance when necessary
• Manage hardware deployments, unified communication applications, and migrations
• Maintain data and voice networks through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate telecommunications work including adds, moves, and changes
• Assist IT Management in selecting and implementing new Telecom technology
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance technical capabilities and reduce costs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Networking and/or Telecommunications
• Experience in Call Center administration, IVR systems, and Enterprise Telecommunications Infrastructure
• Knowledge of VoIP systems, Cloud-based technologies, PBX, and Call Routing
• Deep knowledge of computer hardware and networking infrastructure
• Associate’s degree in Networking Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or comparable experience)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA certification
• CompTIA Network+ certification
