Requirements

3-5 years VoIP/SIP experience, Knowledge of SIP, TCP/IP, MPLS, Experience with Ribbon SBCs, Proficiency in Wireshark, Linux/Unix command line skills

Interface with customer telecom engineers and IT teams to deploy customized solutions and troubleshoot issues
Provide day-to-day operational support for the Telecommunications network and analyze availability/quality reports
Act as an escalation point for the Network Operations Center to resolve critical SBC alerts
Perform root-cause analyses on service outages and respond to telecom alarms
Create technical documentation and call flow drawings
Manage Telecommunications Service Providers and vendors
Implement hardware and software deployments on the telephony network
Deploy new services including interop testing with carriers and customers
Participate in an on-call emergency rotation

3-5 years of telecom engineering experience with VoIP/SIP voice applications
Detailed knowledge of voice and data communications including SIP, TCP/IP, and MPLS
Experience with Ribbon SBCs and PSX
Working knowledge of protocols such as H.248, G.711, G.729, WebRTC, UDP, and RTP
Knowledge of SIP call routing, Least Cost Routing, and Security Controls (TLS, IPSEC, ACLs)
Experience with International Routing, ITFS, and iDIDs
Ability to build and maintain direct connect SIP Trunks
Experience with Softswitch, Session Border Controllers (Ribbon, AudioCodes), and Media Servers (FreeSWITCH)
Proficiency with Wireshark or other network protocol analyzers
Ability to use intermediate Linux/Unix system administrator commands
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
