Técnico Instrumentação III

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures in instruments and measurement systems using established methodologies
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance, including field calibrations and adjustments
• Identify and propose improvements for maintenance systems
• Provide technical support to the engineering department
• Collect data to identify root causes of equipment failures and support the creation of technical solutions
• Assist specialists with failure analysis and technical meetings

Requirements

• Technical degree or Technologist qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Metrology, Automation, or related fields
• Strong understanding of instrumentation concepts (Range, Span, Hysteresis, Repeatability, Sensitivity, Accuracy, TAGs, etc.)
• Knowledge of measurement principles and process control systems (pressure, flow, level, temperature, analyzers, etc.)
• Proficiency with HART technology and smart instruments (handheld devices and HART networks)
• Understanding of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, as well as system calibration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in continuous process industries, preferably in Pulp & Paper
• Previous experience in a technical maintenance role focused on instrumentation within an industrial context
