Técnico en Mantenimiento

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain productive equipment to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Perform mechanical adjustments, product changes, and minor repairs in accordance with established manuals and maintenance plans.
• Detect and correct equipment failures in a systematic and proactive manner while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure quality.
• Document equipment downtime, including descriptions, causes, solutions, and duration.
• Maintain clean and organized manual tools and work areas.
• Support the training and development of assigned production line personnel.
• Comply with all safety, hygiene, and quality policies and procedures established by the plant and corporate guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma (Bachillerato).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficiency with machines and tools.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent training in Floor Mechanic, Machine and Tools, or Apparatus Mechanic.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment following Good Manufacturing Practices.
