About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage import and export operations to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
  • Review and validate customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and pedimentos.
  • Maintain updated digital foreign trade records and files in accordance with legal standards.
  • Coordinate operations with customs agents, carriers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
  • Support the administration and control of foreign trade systems, including Anexo 24 and VUCEM.
  • Participate in internal, corporate, and government audits related to Foreign Trade and Supply Chain Security.
  • Monitor documentary discrepancies, customs incidents, and information requests from authorities.
  • Prepare reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to foreign trade operations.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Planning, Finance, and Production to ensure process compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in Foreign Trade, Customs, or International Logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican customs legislation.
  • Proficiency with IMMEX and PROSEC programs.
  • Experience using Anexo 24 and VUCEM.
  • Intermediate English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within IMMEX companies.
  • Knowledge of OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) and/or CTPAT.
  • Experience with tariff classification.
  • Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements and Certificates of Origin.
