Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs and ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive procedures
• Elaborate, implement, and provide guidance on occupational health and safety (SST) policies
• Evaluate requests for Personal Protective Equipment (EPI)
• Monitor on-site medical assistance
• Coordinate the renewal of ergonomic, hazardous, and unhealthy activity reports, as well as PPRA and PCMSO
• Cooperate with environmental activities, including waste treatment and disposal guidance
• Coordinate fire brigade training and monitor the maintenance of fire fighting equipment
• Analyze accident and occupational disease statistics to implement preventive measures
• Coordinate the issuance of CAT (Accident Report) and investigate workplace accidents and near-misses

Requirements

• Health and Safety NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent)
• High school diploma (Ensino médio completo)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
