Técnico de mantenimiento de equipos y utillaje

Responsibilities

• Repair dies including cutting, drawing, and forming dies
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on stamping tooling
• Diagnose mechanical and dimensional failures in dies
• Coordinate the adjustment, assembly, and disassembly of dies with the production team
• Perform grinding, polishing, and replacement of worn components such as punches, matrices, guides, and springs
• Ensure proper alignment, clearances, and tolerances
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to extend tooling life and reduce incidents
• Record all interventions in maintenance management systems (GMAO)

Requirements

• Vocational training in Machining, Industrial Maintenance, or a similar field
• 2 to 5 years of experience in die maintenance or metal stamping
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of cold stamping, progressive dies, and transfer dies
• Experience working with mechanical and/or hydraulic presses
• Proficiency with precision machinery (e.g., grinders) and manual tools
• Familiarity with metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
