Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and mechanical completion activities during the commissioning or production assistance phase
• Program functional tests to ensure all machine and oven components operate correctly and meet performance requirements
• Identify and resolve defects or malfunctions during startup and report non-conformities for product improvement
• Manage client relationships during the commissioning phase until final commissioning is complete
• Conduct production tests and final testing of machinery
• Draft detailed reports regarding tests, results, and modifications made
• Analyze plant performance after startup to identify areas for improvement
• Provide on-site training to operators regarding the use and routine maintenance of machines and ovens

Requirements

• Mechatronics training or similar technical background
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings/schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex or unexpected situations
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 200 days per year)
• Experience in a similar commissioning or technical role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell systems
• Previous experience in the bakery or food processing industry
• Knowledge of the Spanish language
