Technology Trading Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering strategy and transformation for Trading and Investment Oversight systems
• Lead the migration of legacy systems toward cloud-native, API-first, and microservices architectures
• Champion the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) for investment oversight decision support
• Manage and mentor a high-performing global technology team across multiple hubs
• Oversee the end-to-end technology lifecycle, ensuring resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence
• Manage multi-million-dollar technology budgets and strategic vendor relationships including Bloomberg and ION Group
• Establish KPIs for platform usage, execution quality, and risk mitigation

Requirements

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in front office technology within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking
• Deep understanding of trading and investment oversight workflows across multi-asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Futures, FX, OTC derivatives)
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and APIs
• Proven experience leading cross-functional, global technology teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS in Financial Engineering, or CFA
• Experience managing platforms supporting ETFs and innovative new product solutions
• Familiarity with emerging technologies including Quantum computing and digital asset infrastructure
