Technology Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical, audiovisual (AV), and IT support for recording studios and teaching facilities.
• Offer operational assistance and specialist knowledge for the development and maintenance of music technology.
• Coordinate equipment loans and perform general maintenance on equipment and musical instruments.
• Manage software installation, configuration, and deployment across macOS and Windows environments.
• Assist with media production, live performance support, and live streaming technologies.
• Develop infrastructure and maintain knowledge base documentation.
• Perform minor technical maintenance, including soldering and patchbay work.

Requirements

• Recent professional experience in the technical operation and configuration of analogue and digital audio/video production.
• High-level IT support skills with proficiency in Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows.
• Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools and Ableton Live.
• Experience with video recording equipment and editing software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of audio and media production workflows and infrastructure.
• Experience with MIDI, Networking (DANTE, RAVENNA, NDI), and basic electronics.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small, dynamic team.
