About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery to ensure operational stability and availability.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies using standard observability tools and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve production service interruptions for internally and externally developed systems.
- Analyze complex situations and trends to manage incidents, problems, and changes within full-stack technology systems.
- Monitor trading application stacks and critical batch processing to ensure seamless business operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for Technology and Business stakeholders regarding day-to-day application issues.
- Support late night and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- Undergraduate degree in a numerate subject such as mathematics, engineering, or computing science.
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux platforms, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Experience with relational databases and the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Experience with Control M and Autosys Scheduler.
- Experience developing and supporting applications built on Python, Java, or .NET frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in large-scale environments (on-premises and public cloud).
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
- Exposure to the ITIL framework and proficiency in incident and problem management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of public cloud environments and AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Architect, or Developer Associate).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Networking and Infrastructure.
- Experience with KDB or other non-SQL databases.
- Experience supporting public/private cloud-based, Java, or e-commerce applications.
- Working knowledge of Grafana and Tableau.
