Technology Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the front-line lubricant technology contact, providing technical information and guidance to customers, distributors, and sales teams
• Provide expert product technical and application advice, including technical data sheets, MSDS, and product claims
• Respond to inquiries via telephone, email, and online chat in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of technical specification databases, product cross-reference tables, and knowledge management systems
• Support marketing and sales initiatives by providing market insights and technical intelligence
• Record and direct customer complaints to the appropriate functions to support resolution
• Provide technical training to internal and external stakeholders as required

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Chemist degree preferred)
• Familiarity with manufacturing and transportation industries and processes
• Strong customer focus and service delivery orientation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multi-task in an operational environment
• Proficiency in working within a computer and systems desktop environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in applied engineering roles, such as in automotive or industrial maintenance environments
