Technology Success Advocate

Responsibilities

• Provide initial contact, problem analysis, and triage for end-users regarding computing, communication, and data systems.
• Design and deliver campus-wide training workshops, seminars, and instructional materials for faculty, staff, and students.
• Develop and implement core computer literacy requirements and maintain records of training evaluations.
• Support a variety of technologies including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Moodle LMS, and various operating systems (Windows, Android, Apple).
• Log, track, and assign CIT-supported system requests to appropriate staff.
• Mentor student staff by providing technical training, customer service guidance, and performance feedback.
• Create and modify online documentation and user training resources to promote community self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Work-related experience in technology support or a similar technical role.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly and articulately.
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and handle complex troubleshooting tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
