Technology Strategy Business Consultant

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis and presentation material for IT Capital Expenditures, including strategic prioritization, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Create leadership-level analyses regarding technology usage, demand, financial impacts, and contractual analysis
• Build financial business cases for technology decisions, such as vendor switches or new product capabilities
• Leverage data analytics tools like Power BI, SQL, and Excel to provide data-driven suggestions for senior leadership
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to analyze and report on productivity and automation efforts
• Lead special projects and ad hoc requests to support the Technology function

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of related experience with an emphasis on project analysis, management reporting, planning, and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial results and projections
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of accounting (GAAP), reporting, and financial analysis
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior management
