Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair computers, workstations, servers, and associated peripherals
• Support and maintain campus-wide network systems, audio-visual equipment, copiers, printers, and phones
• Perform routine maintenance on hardware and software to ensure operational efficiency
• Execute warranty repairs or replacements in accordance with manufacturer requirements
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and warranty failures to ensure compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional technical support to campus users

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics or computer technology (related work experience may substitute)
• One year of experience in computer repair or a related technical field
• Knowledge of current software applications
• Valid Iowa Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience providing technical-based customer service in a professional work environment
