About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate technology scouting and intelligence by gathering and assessing scientific and technological information, with a focus on the Canadian market.
- Manage a portfolio of grouped technologies and identify external partners, startups, and SMEs for potential collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key research institutes and technical stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports on technology trends, scouting activities, and client needs.
- Support the launch, monitoring, and closure of projects in coordination with internal R&T support.
- Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the value of new technologies and build business cases.
- Advise on implementation methodologies and formulate "make or buy" recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in aerospace, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in technology scouting or innovation.
- Strong technical interest and knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Ability to autonomously develop Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- EU citizenship (required for VIE eligibility).
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
