Technology Scouting and Intelligence Expert

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technology scouting and intelligence by gathering and assessing scientific and technological information, with a focus on the Canadian market.
• Manage a portfolio of grouped technologies and identify external partners, startups, and SMEs for potential collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key research institutes and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports on technology trends, scouting activities, and client needs.
• Support the launch, monitoring, and closure of projects in coordination with internal R&T support.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the value of new technologies and build business cases.
• Advise on implementation methodologies and formulate "make or buy" recommendations.

Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent) in aerospace, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in technology scouting or innovation.
• Strong technical interest and knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Ability to autonomously develop Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EU citizenship (required for VIE eligibility).
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
