Technology Risk Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Second Line of Defense (2LoD) business partner for technology risk across platforms, products, and services
• Provide independent challenge to senior technology, security, and delivery leadership regarding material risks and control effectiveness
• Lead 2LoD oversight and risk assessments for AI technology adoption, including model, data, privacy, and regulatory risks
• Shape Group-level technology risk reporting and provide Board-ready narratives
• Provide oversight of operational resilience and vendor risk management for Cloud and SaaS suppliers
• Identify systemic technology risk themes and drive resolution through Group governance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Group technology risk standards, metrics, and guidance

Requirements

• Extensive experience in technology, information, or operational risk within a complex, regulated financial services organization
• Proven experience operating within a Three Lines of Defense (3LoD) model, ideally in a senior 2LoD role
• Expertise in assessing and governing Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases across the AI lifecycle
• Strong understanding of technology risk domains including resilience, security, and third-party risk
• Experience with vendor risk management and operational resilience involving third-party providers
• Ability to distill complex technical risks into clear, business-focused insights for executive stakeholders
