Technology Risk and Control Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as an embedded technology risk partner within Merchant Solutions, providing guidance across technology, cybersecurity, and control execution
• Develop and promote a security-first approach by integrating controls into planning, delivery, and operations
• Act as a primary adviser to technology and business stakeholders on risk, cybersecurity, and control effectiveness
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams to maintain policies and standards aligned with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation efforts
• Identify control gaps through risk assessments and testing, then track remediation progress
• Develop technical risk roadmaps including oversight of resiliency processes, backup controls, and problem management

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in information security, technology risk, or IT controls
• Proficiency with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or COBIT
• 8+ years of experience with GRC, risk assessment, control testing, and vulnerability management
• 8+ years of experience with IAM and PAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Ping Identity)
• 8+ years of experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments, fintech, or large-scale merchant environments
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and regulators on cybersecurity examinations
• Familiarity with Lean Process Automation or Six Sigma principles
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
