Responsibilities

• Produce a regular cadence of scoops and definitive analytical pieces
• Build and maintain high-level sources across AI labs, major tech companies, venture and growth capital, and the political ecosystem
• Write agenda-setting stories situating company or policy decisions in the context of capital accumulation and geopolitical competition
• Collaborate with journalists across business, finance, politics, and international coverage
• Contribute to live journalism, including news-breaking and on-record panels

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant experience in tech or business journalism
• Demonstrated track record of sourcing deeply inside companies and venture capital
• Ability to blend insider knowledge with authoritative analysis for sophisticated audiences
• Experience in fast-moving, ambitious newsroom environments
• Strong ability to spot long-term themes and power shifts
