About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) for large-scale educational capital improvement programs.
- Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative for PMIS modernization, including transitioning from legacy platforms like Proliance to Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder).
- Oversee strategic deployment, configuration, migration, and integration activities across PMO, IT, Finance, and Facilities departments.
- Manage the integration between PMIS platforms and financial/accounting systems, specifically Deltek Costpoint.
- Coordinate system validation, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure operational readiness.
- Develop and deliver PMIS training programs and support change management initiatives to drive organizational adoption.
- Lead post go-live support, including issue management, system stabilization, and the prioritization of feature enhancements.
- Analyze operational workflows to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale capital programs, PMO systems, or enterprise technology implementations.
- Proven experience leading PMIS implementation, migration, or modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder) and Deltek Costpoint.
- Strong understanding of capital program accounting, including budgeting, contract management, and invoicing workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and the software delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting public agencies, higher education districts, or large infrastructure programs.
- Experience managing PMIS migrations specifically from Proliance to eBuilder.
- Expertise in data migration, ETL processes, and dashboard development.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.

- Salary Range: $168,000 - $172,000
