Technology Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technology Project Management Team in managing bond-funded technology projects for educational facilities.
• Align technology requirements with construction and engineering efforts to ensure functional systems.
• Manage project documentation, including initiation forms, schedules, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to oversee installations and resolve technical issues.
• Perform onsite project observation reports and review technical scopes of work.
• Utilize Bluebeam or Revit to review drawings, specifications, and perform takeoffs.
• Support various project types including Networking, Physical Security, AV Classroom Tech, VoIP, and Wireless Deployment.
• Track project status, manage submittals, and coordinate with Asset Management and Accounting.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience managing multiple IT projects, specifically within capital improvement programs.
• Demonstrated experience working within construction environments.
• Experience with low voltage cabling installation, including broadband and internet services.
• Proficiency with software such as Bluebeam and/or Visio.
• Experience with website management and dashboard tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Community College Facilities.
• Experience integrating technology within construction and engineering projects.
• Experience coordinating directly with contractors and subcontractors.
• IT or project management certifications.
• Familiarity with public fund programs and the bidding/contracting process.
• Experience facilitating end-user training sessions.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $108,000 - $113,000.
