Technology Operations Intern

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary troubleshooter for technical support systems, applications, hardware, and user account issues
• Respond to Tier 1 help desk requests and enter all issues into the Help Desk system
• Support the employee onboarding process, including account creation and computer provisioning
• Assist with asset management and inventory tracking throughout the full lifecycle of assets
• Support office systems including phone, conference, and A/V equipment
• Build and maintain self-service documentation for common fixes and internal team reference

Requirements

• Experience with IT, Technology, or Systems
• Foundational understanding of networking
• Strong independent and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite in Somerville, MA for the Fall 2026 term (September 14 – December 18)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing tickets in a help desk environment
• Experience with computer repair
• Knowledge of Google Workspace or Jira administration
• Familiarity with MDM software (e.g., Jamf, Intune) or ITAM software (e.g., AssetSonar)
• Interest in 3D Printing and CAD software
