Technology Operation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain Intelligent Network (IN) and Value-Added Services (VAS) platforms, including OCS, PCRF, STP, SBC, SMSC, and VMS.
• Configure Online Charging System (OCS) for real-time charging, including rating logic, tariff plans, and promotional bundles.
• Manage PCRF/PCF policies for QoS, throttling, and service-based control across Gx, Gy, and Rx interfaces.
• Operate SMSC and manage A2P partner integrations via SMPP, including SMS firewall implementation.
• Maintain signaling (STP) for SS7/SIGTRAN routing and SBC platforms for SIP/VoLTE security.
• Manage SIM/eSIM lifecycle operations and Voucher Management Systems (VMS).
• Integrate telecom platforms with IT applications such as BCRM, Billing, Mediation, and ERP.
• Act as the technical focal point for Host MNO coordination, including testing, change management, and troubleshooting.
• Perform incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance within defined SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with IN/VAS, OCS, PCRF, STP, SBC, SMSC, IVR, SIM/eSIM, and VMS platforms.
• Strong expertise in IN architecture and signaling protocols (SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, SIP, SMPP, MAP, CAP).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience with major vendor platforms such as Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE, or Oracle.
• Solid understanding of API integration (REST, SOAP, Kafka).

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor certifications (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, or Oracle Communications).
• Experience with 5G CCS/PCF and GSMA eSIM/RSP.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Python or DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-native VAS and monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, or ELK.
