Technology Operation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain Intelligent Network (IN) and Value-Added Services (VAS) platforms, including OCS, PCRF, STP, SBC, SMSC, and VMS
• Configure Online Charging System (OCS) for real-time charging, including rating logic, tariff plans, and promotional bundles
• Manage PCRF/PCF policies for QoS, throttling, and service-based control across Gx, Gy, Rx, Sy, and Sd interfaces
• Operate SMSC for P2P and A2P messaging, including managing A2P partners via SMPP and implementing SMS firewall policies
• Manage signaling (STP) for SS7/SIGTRAN routing and SBC platforms for SIP/VoLTE/IMS security and quality
• Oversee SIM/eSIM/OTA platforms for provisioning and lifecycle operations, as well as Voucher Management Systems (VMS)
• Integrate IN/VAS platforms with IT applications such as BCRM, Billing, Mediation, and ERP systems
• Act as the technical focal point for the Host MNO regarding signaling, charging, and IMS matters
• Perform incident resolution, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure high availability and zero revenue leakage
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to charging, data policy, and service quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with IN/VAS, OCS, PCRF, STP, SBC, SMSC, IVR, SIM/eSIM, and VMS platforms
• Deep expertise in signaling protocols including SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, SIP, SMPP, MAP, CAP, INAP, and RTP
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and shell scripting
• Experience working with Oracle or MySQL databases
• Strong understanding of API integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, Kafka, and ESB
• Experience coordinating with Host MNOs and integrating with core IT billing systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor certifications from Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, or Oracle Communications
• Experience with 5G CCS/PCF and GSMA eSIM/RSP standards
• Knowledge of SMS firewall implementation and automation using Python or DevOps tools
• Familiarity with NFV, cloud-native VAS, and monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, or ELK
