Technology Maintenance & Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with technology subcontractor Cubic, ensuring all delivery, performance, and contractual commitments are met
• Coordinate with TfL and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of technology systems with civil, electrical, mechanical, and SCADA elements
• Provide technical oversight and expertise for communications, control systems, monitoring systems, and networked infrastructure
• Review and validate technical submissions, designs, test documents, and commissioning evidence to ensure compliance with standards
• Support emergency responses to critical incidents and coordinate rapid resolution to restore system functionality safely

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a technology-focused engineering discipline, or relevant highways and traffic technology experience
• Experience managing subcontractors, ideally in technology or systems integration
• Understanding of tunnel technologies, communications networks, and control systems
• Valid full driving licence and ability to travel to sites as required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
